Multi stop flights

Hi
I am looking to travel to New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles in June or July 2014.
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding where the best place to book multi-stop flights?
I don't mind booking hotels and flights together, although I have a hotel in mind in LV and I always stay in the same hotel in NY.
Many thanks for any advice.

You might get it cheaper through booking it seperately but if you want to book it all together try google flights as i've got it to 779 from London to New York to Los Angeles to Las Vegas and then to home. https://www.google.co.uk/flights/#search;iti=LGW,LCY,LTN,LHR,STN_JFK,EWR,LGA_2014-06-16*JFK,EWR,LGA_LAX_2014-06-20*LAX_LAS_2014-07-04*LAS_LGW,LCY,LTN,LHR,STN_2014-07-11;tt=m;q=new+york+to+los+angeles+flights
for hotels try hotwire.com or priceline.com as you can usually get it cheaper when looking around. I know when we were there we got a 4 star in Chicago (probably the best hotel i've ever stayed in, but i think its because we had been at camp for 8 weeks then been in hostels for 2 so ended up being luxury) for i think it was 60 quid between us but could have fitted 4 people like it did in Las Vegas:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:

have a look at the NY and Vegas stickies for advice on those cities...there's loads of information there.
what hotel are you looking at in Vegas?
I would book a multi-city ticket - I normally use kayak to search...the cities you are visiting are all served by multiple airlines, some of which codeshare with each other so there shouldn't be any hideous fare surprises in store for you...do check but if you book one one ticket the transatlantic luggage allowance may apply which would potentially save baggage charges for the internal flights vs booking say an open-jaw ticket UK -> NYC, LA->UK with separate internal flights.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hi ferf1223
Thank you for your reply.
I want to stay in the Venetian hotel in LV. I always stay in the Edison in New York. No idea about Los Angeles as long as it is near the beach

Venetian may be one that's worth looking at on lowcostusa - https://www.lowcostusa.co.uk/lasvegas - loads of people have used them on the Vegas sticky and for the higher-end hotels particularly they seem to have some pretty good deal...one of the regular members on the Vegas sticky was also successful in getting Venetian and Palazzo on Priceline (which many - including me - wouldn't normally suggest for Vegas)- may be worth looking at her posts about it (lesley74)...if memory serves the 5* north strip hotels are limited to just a few so reasonably safe to bid compared to some other options...just do make sure you have read all about Priceline and the potential pitfalls before bidding...going for lower star ratings or wider areas in Vegas is probably pretty dangerous business as way, way too many options and many of which might not be what someone is looking for.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

I use skyscanner.com for working out flights. Though remember that you will need to scan for hotels at the same time with another service like Trivago to find the best deals on hotels. They may not necessarily coincide. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Skyscanner is no good (at present) for multi-stop flights - try www.momondo.co.uk0 -

Hi,
Stayed in the Edison myself. Found the location second to none, but a bit dated. What did you think?
I found Opodo good for multi stop flights. There may be others though.0 -
we normally use kayak to search for flights but then go to the airline's website to book...using kayak helps us get an idea where the best prices are likely to be as we don't have a grasp on which airlines fly to which cities, which codeshare with airlines that may fly to some of our cities, etc...but kayak or similar will be a good starting point...we pretty much always book flights direct - we don't use third parties other than for initial research.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Ferf, that's correct, I got both the Palazzo and Venetian on Priceline last year, if it's still the same it should be fairly reliable it would be either of those. You just need to make sure Trump is not included in the zone. That said I've stayed at Trump and liked it, but it's a little bit cheaper so could be disappointing if you think you're getting Venetian/Palazzo. We got 4 nights at Palazzo in September, then tried to add the Friday/Saturday because the rate was good on Priceline and ended up getting Venetian for those dates. They let us stay at Palazzo right through though.
Another option, having you considered driving between LA and Vegas? I quite enjoyed doing that. We flew to LA and drove to Vegas last year, had 2 nights at Culver City (convenient for Interstate and sightseeing), and then a night at Long Beach on the way back. I enjoyed Long Beach.0
