The following day the Christmas sale started and both the mattress and bed were greatly reduced, the lad in the store and the person he talked to on the phone would of been aware of this and it really annoys me that despite this being a fault with their product they were still after getting money out of me.
Staff wouldn't necessarily know which items were being reduced in the sale.0 -

I know I should of thought about the sales, but having just moved into a flat I was rushing to get it all sorted and as I had the day off work and had a break from unpacking it was more a thing of getting it sorted while I could.
Seem to be just trying to get a point where we aren't tripping over boxes so the passage of time seems to missing me at the moment, not sure if I would of even remembered Christmas if my mum did not keep reminding me that I had go to hers to cook her Christmas dinner, Arg0 -

The staff wouldn't know the beds were to be reduced. In Argos and Homebase each morning there are a list of prices printed off by a central computer. These can be increases or decreases and a designated person has to go round each morning and change them. I know this because I used to do this. It's not a conspiracy, the chap on the counter didn't know if the bed would be reduced but If you'd used a bit of common sense and went in on boxing day when the sales had started you could have given yourself a better chance of a bargain.0
