Hi, I'm a long time lurker but only recently registered. I've always found these threads motivational and interesting to see how people manage to save money during the year. Really hope there's another next year so I can actively take part!

On a plus note, managed to get just over £500 in the last few weeks with a combination of ebay sales and money off a variety of things. About half that value was money back through cash back sites
  • Just ordered my mum a perfume gift set and I forgot I had a voucher for £10 of points with £60 spend so ordered my daughter some perfume too. When I went to checkout I had recd a free bottle of 1d moments perfume aswell. Didnt even know about the offer! That will do for my nieces birthday.
So £10 advantage points and free £14.99 perfume. Bargain for £63 transaction

Hi. I didn't post at end of Oct so will do so now with Nov total too.
Oct =£870.90 did alot of overtime and night shifts.
Nov =£559.64 again down to overtime, night shifts and a bit if online selling.
My total is misleading for the year as my financial situation changed. so everything I have earned extra has simply made up the shortfall so no better off than before.
this has changed now and household income has improved.

I have loved this thread and hope it will continue next year.

    £2014 in 2014 = £6161.16
