  • There isn't really a "quick" way or a "best" way as different people have time for different things.

If you look at some of the other big threads in this forum you'll see different websites mentioned that give different rewards for different things. Some will transfer cash via BACS or Paypal, some send you shopping vouchers for Amazon etc etc. If you have no interest in Amazon vouchers then you'd be better off sticking to something that pays out cash. Alternatively others prefer Amazon vouchers as it makes Christmas gift shopping a bit easier.

As I said above, different people find different things work. I don't get on with paid surveys for example. Partly because I don't have children, so I get screened out of most surveys, but also because I get bored with them very quickly, so I give up before payout. But I do enjoy writing, so I'm signed up to Bubblews, and I write reviews on Ciao where I generally get enough ratings to get a £2 payout from their premium fund. I also took a bunch of DVDs to my local Cex, where I got £17 for them. Admittedly I might have got a bit more for some of them on eBay, but I was happy with the £17 and it was certainly more money than I would have got if I'd just left them sitting in a box. But others don't like using Cex and prefer to list things on eBay to earn a few more pennies.

It's really about trial and error if you're just starting out. Sign up to a few sites, read a few threads, and see what you find interesting and what's quite boring, and take it from there :)

I have returned after a laptopless 2 months (dark times...). Apparently my last update was at the end of April so here we go:

    May
    Swagbucks - £10
Overtime - £410.39 (Double shifts to cover a sick colleague)

    June
    Overtime - £56.88

    July
    Overtime - £43.25

The nice roadkill spreadsheet I had has also bitten the dust but I definitely remember picking up 20p in Glasgow airport :P

I shall update my siggy and pm my total.

  • So far this month...97 pence in eBook sales from Amazon XD

Released a new one this month but I think I won't get the money from those sales until October, and it'll only be a quid or two at most, need to stop being lazy and start sorting out stuff to trade in and sell.

I have done £132 so far this month. Got to find a way of making £43 over the next week or so.

No survey money yet, but overtime this month has been £281.23 plus a £2 voucher saving on my shopping :)

Edit: Just added my siggy and I've broken the £1,000 barrier! I find my job very soul-crushing so being able to see how my overtime is adding up has really helped to motivate me.
