Hello all
I haven't been able to read back so I am sending love and hugs all round. I spent a week in my local hospital before being ambulanced back to London where Fred was put back in my head. I have having surgery today (Monday) on my shunt via my chestthere is a chance I may be home Xmas eve but no guarentee yet.
Hope your all okay and have a great
Xmas love and hugs guys xxNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

J J sorry to hear you are back in hospital. Alas your separation from Fred wasn't as permanent as you had planned. Wishing you well with your surgery and that everything goes smoothly and you and your family are together for Christmas.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Wow Chrissy, just watched that video and really wish I'd seen it weeks ago lol :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Me too ! It would have saved a lot of grief !
I got my food shopping mostly done yesterday just salad stuff and milk tomorrow, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be thank god.
I'm off for a little look in B & M before work as they open at 8am, I need to find one item for the last cracker and its proving so difficult to sort. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Sorry to hear you are going through this now, I do hope the surgery goes well and that you are well enough to go home in time for Christmas. Sending you lots of hugs and Christmas spirit! Thinking of you xx0 -
I made the honey roasted nuts the other day and put them in jars for my friends - they were delicious! Well, they would have been had I not left them in the oven 10 minutes too long so the nuts with skins got slightly burnt! I had to pick out the good ones to put in the jars, the whole thing took a lot longer than needed in the end! But they were really tasty, here is the recipe I used:
http://www.jamieoliver.com/news-and-features/features/festive-honey-roasted-nuts/
It says roast for 20-30 mins, I did it for 30mins but I think they were ready after 10mins in hindsight.0 -

Free – I don’t blame you starting to get some gifts now and do through the year, I do think it is best!! I actually sat and started to make a list last night with ideas jotted down. Set myself a tighter budget next year but I know it is do-able if organised.
OMO – Loving the drinks station!! Thanks for the reminder about Santa
I did get the cork out my Procesco last night :rotfl:
GTQ – Thanks for the Jess update, sad that it isn’t good news
Chrissy – Complete and utter ******** those people on about your car parking!!!!!! I did rather love some of the suggestions by people
Dennatrois – Glad that you are making headway with the critters!
Feisty – YAY for the orders all done for another year!! Have fun wrapping
MandCo – I hope your son is feeling better
Nic – Hugs!! It sounds to me it’s been a fab run up to Christmas and in honesty it’s not what you get but the memories you make that is important!!
JJ – Sending you big Christmassy hugs, I really hope they get you out in time for Christmas!!
I didn't have quite as many pages to read as first thought, I forgot that I did have a read Friday evening!
I have set £15 per person budgets and then for the small gifts I get for cousins/auntie & uncles I will set the limit at £5. Depending on what idea's I come up with I might do the Grandparents together at £15 with a hamper of nice bits and also do something similar for the parents but go to £20 per set of parents (if that makes sense?!)
I do have had some thoughts for birthdays and things and I did get the cards for January birthdays last week and they are written ready
May have to moonpig a card for my Dad's 50th as I couldn't find a nice one that said Dad and 50 onpossibly will do the same for my mum.
OK time to get the little bits of work I need to do today done and then I have time to think of some ideas for gifts!

I've sent JJ a pm offering to go on a festive visit after work. I hope she checks her account. Otherwise I'll go tomorrow. If she gets stuck in for Christmas she'll need some cheer.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
