Our TJ Hughes went years ago too. I used to buy suitcases there, so I'm gutted it went too. No shops anywhere near me and postage costs are high for smaller/cheap items so doubt I'd order from them now.
Watched Once (the film) last night and it's not a patch on the show. It was ok, but lacked the magic that the show has. Don't think I'd bother to watch the film again, but I definitely will be going back to see the show.
Betsie2010-great idea. I would join you but our washing line snapped earlier this week (overloaded as I was trying to make the most of a dry day!) so that's something to sort this weekend.
Need to drag myself out of bed now and start getting ready for my craft morning at the library.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A0 -
b-e-g that stitch is so cute! I love knitting, I don't drop stitches but by the time I get to the end my 30 end up looking like 20 because it gets tighter and tighter. It makes it harder too
I always end up taking it to my mum for her to knit a few rows loosen it off again lol.
Ruth-honey - we always got our cases from TJ Hughes too! Anything we had from anywhere else for similar price never lasted more than one of dads trips abroad!
msgigglewick - the had looks brilliant!
Thankyou everyone for your nice comments/well wishes
This week is turning into a very good week! I just stepped on the scales down 3lbs, yay! Though I will probably get absolutely nothing done today I woke up at 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep until gone 6
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Hope everyone is ok, His Missus glad your holiday was fabby, you deserved it so.
B-e-G so brave of you having dentist work. I need sedation just to make an appointment.
Pixtotts, you have found a man-who-can-cook! The Holy Grail will be no problem now!
Mrs G the ninja hat made me chuckle out loud, as did your sign, OMO.
Mrs MP it is a horrid disease, I am so sad for you, and for all that this blight touches.
Betsie, I envy you your drying day, clothes are so fresh when they are dried outdoors aren't they?
Today is a quiet one, DGS has gone to Blackpool with his dad and the grandma sister, so I am on my own, I can do as I want, so..... why is it that when I have 15 mins or half an hour, I can focus and fill it, but a whole day? I will just waste it. No, I'll get my kitchen timer and give myself half hour slots! (ye gods saddo)
Keep a-smiling off I amble to find some get well soon cards for the fireplace, lol0 -

How true that is haha :rotfl:
Well I'm sure this can't last - it's been sort of sunny almost all day so I'll probably pay for it when I go shopping later tonight and the heavens will probably open. Haven't done anything remotely festive recently but have been writing ideas down so all is not lost. Also eyeing up cute outfits for Christmas for my new niece/nephew but could do with knowing which sex before I actually buy anything just in case
Hope all those who have had lots of rain recently are ok and enjoying this unusual day xx0 -

Ruth hope you had fun crafting
I'm just a teeny bit green, starting with cabin fever today! So I must be on the mend. I won't add "Once" to my ever growing films list xxx
Pixtotts weight loss too woo hoo! you are on a roll. Tho you do look beautiful on your blog picxxx
Mrsinvisible you do make me chuckle. I've found a whole new way to get my Mrs I fix now. The books (can't for the life of me remember who recommended them- Agatha Raisin mysteries- well the afore mentioned Mrs Raisin (in my head only- obviously- is very similar to the Mrs I ) so in my drug induced fog I'm chuckling and chucking imagining you getting yourself into these situations. Some of the things she's done are definitely not Mrs I but I think quite a lot could be xxx
Lazysheep I do hope it managed to stay dry till you were home from shopping. Makes such a difference xxx
Mandco bless your little lad, how very grown up. I know exactly what you mean, term time drags along and the holidays whizz on fast forward just like weekends don't they. I've not seen DGD2 since Friday last weeknever been away from her for so long except for hols. Missing her xxx
Freespirit wow you are on a roll. Go girl. When I'm feeling a bit stronger I'm going to have to nail this Christmas organisation too. I will be pestering xxxThe secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
All year through0
