surfsister - I've had so many poachers, inc. for microwave, that promise but don't deliver - is this one really so good, cos for £1, it's worth a go?
Do you have to grease beforehand, because with the one I've got you have to and it's a pain cleaning after with bits of egg stuck on.
P.S.Have also tried Poachies, which are the paper ones, a bit hit and miss, you have to get the timing exact, especially if you are timing with toast, as they can either turn out too runny or rock hard.0 -

You might like to look at the reviews for other colours/styles of this make before buying - not universally thrilled! e.g. http://www.johnlewis.com/de'longhi-kbo3001ob-icona-kettle-black/p1017066?navAction=jump0 -

Line the individual 'cups' in the poacher with a piece of cling film, overlapping the edges slightly so you can fold it underneath the 'cup'. No sticking, no mess!0 -

But the reviews on the blue and black ones are terrible??0 -
I've got the De'longhi kettle, bought it from Debenhams in the sale 3 years ago at £56. Very tempted to buy this as a spare. Mine is a silver if the reviews are complaining about paint chipping. I think the reviews said it was noisy when I bought it, it is a bit, might be a problem in a bedsit for a minute when it's nearly boiled.0

Hi - I line a ramekin with cling film, touch of butter, crack egg in and twist up cling film and the top and lift into boiling water, nothing to wash up.0 -
oos.
I'd have loved this.
I hope everyone who got one enjoys it
