I also got the wicker basket hamper and thought it was great for £7.50, so thank you go cat, although as purpleducky said not as nicely presented as the picture suggests. The Christmas cake was a little dry but nice and the chocolates were yummy. I would expect to pay a couple of pounds for each of the items if I bought them separately from John Lewis and a fiver for the wine so well worth the discounted price.

I also got one of the star stacker hampers for £8.75 which had loads of sweets and savoury treats in it, with all beyond February use by dates and the jelly beans were June. They worked out at less than a pound a packet and I like the Christmas boxes which I can reuse.

I'm thinking of ordering a couple more as I thought they were a good bargain.

i got the star stacker and 10 wine baskets. The star stacker was great value- the boxes themselves are wonderful and could be used individually. It keeps going out of stock and coming back in. Lots of the stuff was dated june in mine.

Ordered a mermaid Barbie for £8.39 - was £11.99. Only problem is you don't get to pick which one. http://www.johnlewis.com/barbie-mermaid-doll-assorted/p623685

Just got my order delivered and they have sent 2 pillows instead of the 2 winter warmer hampers I ordered. Someone has actually stuck stickers on them saying they are hampers... I've emailed them to send the hampers and collect the pillows but as the hampers have now sold out I don't hold out much hope....

I have just had an email, the fabric I ordered was actually out of stock so they have refunded me that cost but charged me full P&P on items costing a total of £9.
Not happy and I have expressed my disappointment.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Amazing price for this quality kettle - I've had a look around & it seems to be by far the cheapest

Brilliant, thanks. I've been using a cup of water but the eggs come out a bit runny.

Surfsister - it is for either microwave or pan, you put water in a frying pan but not enough to cover the poacher and the heat cooks the eggs without the fat.
