    Such sad news Judi.

I've just popped in to wish everyone a Happy Christmas.

We nipped out early yesterday to pick up our turkey joint, and now have everything we need for Christmas.

It was a wet and wild day and night, but it seems to have settled down again today.

I slept surprisingly well, considering it was blowing a gale out there.

I love Christmas Eve. The sense of all the preparations done, and can now settle down to relaxing and enjoying this special time of year.

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas

Nice morning so far sitting in somebody else's house talking to friends :D

Speaking of big grins, DH is still toothless as the new crown was the wrong colour - dentist has complained to the lab and so we can only photograph DH on one side this Christmas. Oh dear :rotfl:

Last quick tidy round, then some friends are coming to sample our new tassimo this afternoon.

    Afternoon!

On a bit late today, we start celebrating Christmas in an hour, so this morning we had mince pies in bed, then took DD1 to play group to tire her out so she'd nap well. We've just had chilli and chips for lunch.

We've got everything ready for this afternoon. The children are putting out signs for Santa and a key. We've got stockings to put out and a tray ready for Santa... With reindeer food :)

The children all have a gift of PJs and once they're ready they have a Christmas DVD for them. Snacks are out... And we've cinnamon popcorn to make, Santa letters to write, paper chains to make too :)

Dinner is Chinese/Chicken selection box buffet food.

Boxing Day we're going to the in-laws, so I wish you all A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and I'll see you on the other side x
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

    Afternoon all!
Finally collected DS's ps4, although they got the wrong ones in and I had to pay for the game he wanted, I growled a bit and got it half price! Nipped into sainsbobs for some extra wine, and for some puddings for boxing day since there was finally a space in the freezer. My ham is simmering in the SC, turkey breast is defrosting for boxing day as I will probably cook it tomorrow night so its easier to slice.
It's wet and wild, so I will take mum to the home to visit auntie, then run round with the hoover and that will be me as organised as I will be!
    JUDI such sad news xx
Hugs where needed, have a good day all!

Judi :( such sad sad news :(

Tru sorry about Pepper the chicken x

My veg is prepped. Cheesecake is chilling. I've hoovered up and down stairs. Time to sit on my !!!! and drink coffee. DS is hyper and moody. Not a good combo. He hates today, he wishes it didn't exist, doesn't understand if you get rid of this day then yesterday becomes Xmas eve anyway :rotfl: I hope to goodness he goes to sleep at some reasonable time tonight.
