Just because it is a new build does not mean that it might not be haunted. Have you researched what it was built on? History etc of area.

I grew up when Hampton was all water-filled pits and grass- it was the site of the London Brick Company's factory, with huge chimney stacks, piles of clay and lakes where the clay had been dug out.

When they started building houses there there was a LOT of suspicion among the locals about the stability of the ground! I don't know of any locals who know the history who'd buy a house there in case it all collapses.
The Fens are well known for ghost sightings- it's a spooky landscape and if the wind's howling around you, shadows cast in the gloom, the screech of an owl in the distance..................
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Get a Ouija board and check out to see if there are any evil spirits in your place.

I did just that with a few mates as I had bought a house from a guy who had hung himself from the staircase and I wanted to know where the stopcock and the shed key was.

Sadly that didn't happen but we did have a good chat with folks on the other side.

I can't see anything at all in the first picture, and the second picture looks like a child's drawing of a ghost .... so therefore almost certainly is nothing supernatural.

My suggestion is to stop using the CCTV - if it was being used for reassurance, it's failing spectacularly !

2nd one: It's the grim reaper, along with various figures from hell ... come to gather souls. They can wait, they've waited 2000 years.....

It's just amazing to me that, in this age, people still believe in ghosts!

The fact is that, of the people who "see" a figure in these photos, not one "sees" the same figure.

Mind you, with things rattling and bumping around me all last night.... well.... who knows? I'm sure somebody died in this house... :p

Personally I can't make any figures out in those photos. I'm sure anyone with a good understanding of cameras could explain it though.

The thing to remember is that your brain is always looking for faces and patterns in things- like when you look at clouds and think you can see various shapes in them. You only need to look at your reflection long enough in a dim room for your face to appear distorted-it's your brain overinterpreting and trying to see a new face. It can be scary yes, but it's not real. It's all an illusion.
  • was your sister( or anyone) back in the house between these two photos?

You're right. Its age is irrelevant. It won't be haunted because HAUNTING'S A LOAD OF BILLY-BOLLOX :D
