Newbie question about PAC code!
Hi all,
I am just ending a 12 month sim-only contract with o2, finishing on new years day.
I wish to get a new phone as part of my new contract, possibly a galaxy S3 or similar. I have found a deal through carphone warehouse which I am happy with, although I will be calling o2 soon to ask for their best deal. Now, the carphone warehouse deal is also with o2.
Now, assuming o2 can't beat carphone warehouse, I will get the CW deal. This comes with the handset and a micro-sim.
The main question is, if I want to use the same number, should I use the PAC code? And also, this may sound rather silly, but how do I use it?! On my previous phone (switching from Tesco to o2) I got the PAC code, told the salesman this and he did everything. I presume this won't happen if I buy it online? Am I supposed to ring up o2 with the new phone and PAC code?
Thanks in advance

If your with the same network and treating it as an upgrade then you wont need to do anything.
I got my wifes phone from Phones4U, Still with Voda. I did wonder if i would pay Voda one amount and P4u for another. But seems not. Voda take the money exactly as before.
If its a new account and not an upgrade then you probably need to give 30 days notice and get a PAC code.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
