Hi Tulip, Lovely to hear from you! It is great that you are working out at the gym and enjoying it! I must admit, I always feel happy and healthy when I return home from a good brisk walk with the dog or a bike ride with the kids. Working out can definitely boost your esteem and confidence! And how cute are those names you chose for your tortoises!!! Ahhh!


Yes FF, I am pleased with my hair - it is a lighter candy pink for the Summer, and as my hair is really long, the hairdresser had to use four bottles of pink hair dye! LOL It took 4 hours as she had to bleach my hair first then wash and dry it, then add the pink hair dye then wash and dry again! Lots of coffee and girlie chit chat though plus she has a flat screen tv on the wall so we could watch This Morning and Loose Women!

Sorry not been around today. Drove back home from Yorkshire via Hartelepool to see Sister. Am back now, washing in machine and half unpacked.

Got home to (believe it or not) my Stella win. A hair color. Was going through all the mail from being away and putting a pile for recycling. There was a large white envelope from hand picked hotels, I was going to bin it and had second thoughts and opened it. It was my win from Clipper Tea. A one night stay for 2 at Hand Picked Hotels with champers on arrival, evening meal, a night in hotel and breakfast.

Also DH had a WEM from Good to Know from the dailies he does. He has won the Pro-Collegen Treat Collection with Good to Know.

Looks like you have had good weather then firefly, well done on the rhubarb pies and crumble.

Hope you enjoyed seeing your sister! I love Yorkshire - so scenic - and I have been to Hartlepool several times to go shopping or for a walk around the marina! Well done on your wins too!

When I got home today I checked my spam box and found a wem for a marble race game - the kids will love it! I had one of those when I was little! Enjoy your evening and hope you get your washing dried between the heavy showers forecast for this week! Going to get colder too! Typical just before a long bank holiday weekend!

Just had a phone call from our joiner - he had wanted to start work on our ensuite tomorrow. Think plumber was supposed to phone us at the weekend. Says they will start on Wednesday instead.
