Had a nice trip with kids but some things we bought didn't turn out well! Bought DD 5 pair pack of socks and they had one missing, bought son some socks and they had a hole in one, got DD1 one of those thermal mugs and then dropped it and chipped it and I bought a photo frame reduced with 90% off from clintons but hadn't realised I picked wrong one up and got grandpa instead of dad! Only realised the errors when I got home! :doh:
If anyone goes in clintons card shop though they had a good display of reduced items up to 90% off and the thermal mug with lid only worked out at 60p, the photo frame had a lovely verse on one side for dads and grandpa (ideal for Father's Day) and they were £1.20. Love a good bargain!

Good Morning,

Just popped in to wish everyone a lucky week.
Don't think I will pay for extra internet and Premier Inn only give half an hour free but will see. Meaning to leave about half past nine. Like to see DS3 up and about before we go. He seldom sleeps in but had a night out last night so will wait to check on him. Won't be ready before then probably anyway.
See you all on Tues afternoon - hope you have lots of wins to tell me about then.

Good Morning All.

Have a safe trip Sheils. Hope you enjoy Harrogate.

Just trying to get DD2 up so we can go to the Harrogate Flower Show. Not having much luck at the moment as she opened a bottle of wine last night after a hard day writing reports for work.

My Sister always says she get the mist from the see too Bella as she is in Hartlepool. Lets hope it clears up to be a nice day for you.

I see you have rain as well firefly, lets hope it clears for you soon.

What a shame about your shopping trip Wingo as you had certainly got some real bargains there.

Off to try and wake her up again.

Hi everyone quiet in here today.

We had a horrendous thunder storm earlier with torrential rain but all calm now and the sun out again.

Off to an evening of traditional Greek music with next door neighbours later.

ellemm, wooo a thunder storm! I think they always seem worse abroad! When I was working as a rep in Corfu, I remember we had a week of thunder storms and they caused all sorts of problems with drains flooding, roads crumbling, etc as the drainage systems in Greece are nothing like our in the UK! I remember the electricity going off in the whole of our resort of Sidari and I ended up sitting with the guests in our hotel bar having a fun sing song by candlelight! Ahhh those were the days! Enjoy your Greek music evening out!

The weather is disappointing today - the mist cleared but the rain followed and has remained here since! So it is dull and wet out there - no sun at all today!
