Glad your Tesco Voucher came firefly. I totally agree with you about it not being the amount but the principal. Hoping hairdresser will manage to fit me in but she is going on holiday on Friday so not holding out much hope. However, I have give it a nice was and dried it. The cut is nice so its OK. Think DH was a bit upset as well as I have been wanting them for a while but couldn't really warrant the expense so he was having done for my pressie. Off to meet the DD soon for a nice meal at the Harvester anyway. Had some lovely cards in the post as well.

    Enjoy your day.

It is so sad everyone she was a wonderfull human being but just couldnt do loads of things she wanted to because of her arthritis . even shopping at times was a problem but she was determined and went in pain and did it. God love her. so sad.

Ahhh such a shame about your neighbour Rose! Bless her.

I hope you enjoy your meal out Sylvia - such a shame about your hair too! I second what FF says and I hope your meal makes up for your disappointment.

Congrats on all your wins, Bella! You really are having a good run!! Your poor postie is going to be suing you for chiropractic for his back from carrying all those parcels..... :rotfl:

Happy Birthday, Syl - sorry to hear about not getting your highlights, but an excuse for OH to take you out for lunch after you finally do get them done ;):D

Rose - so sorry to hear about your neighbour. It's always incredibly sad to hear that despite all her pain, etc, she was still trying to things and was determined. My grandmother is 86 and all she does is complain about being alive. It really frustrates me: there are people so much younger than her that have passed on, when they had plans and aspirations.
