Thanks all for the birthday wishes. I am having highlights in my hair this morning, my present from OH. Later we are going to the Harvester for a late lunch with OH's DD1 and family so that will be nice for us.

Well I am a little disappointed. My DD2 had forgot to tell the hair lady that I wanted it highlighted so had to settle for a cut as she was flat out all day.

I bet you are getting excited about going to Crete again Ella.

Glad your Tesco Voucher came firefly. I totally agree with you about it not being the amount but the principal. Hoping hairdresser will manage to fit me in but she is going on holiday on Friday so not holding out much hope. However, I have give it a nice was and dried it. The cut is nice so its OK. Think DH was a bit upset as well as I have been wanting them for a while but couldn't really warrant the expense so he was having done for my pressie. Off to meet the DD soon for a nice meal at the Harvester anyway. Had some lovely cards in the post as well.

firefly I looked it up on google and have two onions cut in half in living room and two in hall god knows what peeps will think if they visit today lol. Sad news neighbour that was taken to hospital died this morning just makes you think. So take from life whatever enjoyment and pleasure you can. RIP hon.

So sorry to hear about your neighbor Rosemac. What a shame at such an early age too. You are right we should life life to the full while can.
