Wooo FF That is a bit naughty of that little old lady! She didn't mention that!
I also enjoyed the Ukrainian dance group 'LightBalance' I do wonder why they let non-British people/groups star in the show though? After all it is called 'Britain's Got talent'?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
yep, thought it was a bit naughty as well
don't know why they let non-british enter,
i just enjoy watching the show even if some of the acts aren't very good think it's light entertainment & fun
not often i watch tv but make an exception for BGT :rotfl:

Went to DH's DD's for lunch. We had Beef Wellington which we have not had before. DH didn't cope very well as he likes his meat well done. He thought it was going to walk off the plate, it was almost raw. He had cut it in really thick chunks as well so we had to ask if they had any sharper knives. DH was really struggling so I asked if he could put it in the microwave to cook it a bit more for him. We were not very popular and the SIL said as we were going "We will just give you bacon and egg next time" Think he was a bit
upset.
Hope you are all having a lovely day.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Oh dear Sylvia, but I must admit that I wouldn't have been able to eat meat like that either. I like mine well done too and the slightest bit of red or blood puts me off. Wouldn't you have thought your DH's DD would have known that he preferred his meat well done!? I think you handled the situation really well too! I think I have only ever had Beef Wellington once and that was at a wedding and I enjoyed it - though we were asked beforehand how we preferred our meat cooked.
I found this and it made me think of my dad, who only ever cooks when my parents have a bbq.......and he always burns the meat!
Been a mixed day here - black one minute and looking like rain but then bright the next with sunshine and blue sky! I don't think it has been very warm mind you so have just relaxed indoors this afternoon and played Junior Scrabble! Had a nice Beef Sunday dinner at my parents though - it was lovely and the meat was well done too!
Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday too!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Glad you had a nice lunch at the parents Bella. Don't think his DD would have dared say anything otherwise he would have gone in a mood if he is that way out. Had a nice time though, we watched the latest Disney film and did some reading with the GD. If it had been my DD he would have asked himself. It was a shame as he had really put a lot of effort into it making it all himself. Think if it had been a better cut of beef it would not have been so tough. Wouldn't want to upset them though as we don't see them that often.
Must go out and check the animals again before it gets dark.

Hi everyone - just been reading back.
Couldn't have eaten the beef either Sylvia. DD and I like our beef fairly well done and all the males like theirs rare. DH cuts the roast in two and does it longer for DD & I when we are having a roast.
Had a lovely afternoon at Trentham Gardens and it was nice and sunny for us.
Went to Frankie & Bennys and had a meal with the £30 voucher I won a few weeks ago. At our hotel now and have been upgraded and have free Mars bar and bottles of water. Used Tesco Tokens to get into gardens so not spent much today at all!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
