Hi everyone...
Lovely to step in here... And brrrrrreathe.... I'm feeling a bit hurt by something someone said on one of the other threads in here. I felt it implied I am too lazy to help others within the communityI managed not to respond for a while, then re-read and just felt really, really hurt. I don't want thanks for what I do in this forum, but I'd rather not be called-up about something that isn't true. Anyway.
Probably just my over-sensitivity and depression playing up.
I'm not even a month into my seven months off uni yet, and I'm feeling like I should be doing more. And I'm not even exactly sure what "more" means :rotfl:
Got the new CraftSeller magazine today - love that magazine... Always gives me fantasies of starting my own crafting business!! Also, always has lovely crochet and knitting things in it that make me wish I could do those things.
If anyone is into dressmaking, by the way, there's quite a nice (i.e. easy!) pattern for a tunic or dress free with Prima this month (red cover, with Sam Bailey on it). Pretty good read for £2.99; I only bought it because of the pattern. Also 30% off at La Redoute if anyone's into them: I'm not, I find everything a bit expensive in terms of what you pay for the quality.
Went to a lovely restaurant for lunch - The Talbot Inn in Mells in Somerset, if you're ever down this way. They did a 'roast platter' for 2 which was huge, but fab because it came with the three roast meats they were doing (chicken, lamb and beef - all locally reared), and big portions of veg, roasties, yorkies, gravy, bread sauce, horseradish, and the most amazing homemade mint sauce. Neither of us are hungry (we treated ourselves to starter and pud as well)... Maybe some crackers later!

Thank you for your hug, Bella
It was delicious, and just looked amazing too... The poor waitress (teeny, tiny woman) was struggling to carry out the huge platters they were doing for seven or eight people to share! Think they were probably heavier than her :eek:0 -
Did you enjoy your tuna salad firefly. Sounds lovely but not for me, I don't like tuna at all but do like a tinned salmon salad.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

I really like tuna FF. I make a shepherds pie with it - fry it with onions and mixed herbs, top it with potatoes and cheese and pop it in the oven. Everyone loves it.
I had toffee pudding and ice-cream for pud Sylvia and DH had a crab thing for starter and we both had Italiano Burgers for mains.
Have got todays pics on FB for anyone who wants a look at Trentham Gardens.
