Sorry you have been poorly Rosemac and hope you feel better soon.
Hope the plumbing isnt going to cost you an arm and a leg Sheils (not your arm anyway as you need that for comping).
Well done on your book win as well Bela.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hi all! Hope you are well wor Sylv, my pet!!!
Poor Shiels - there is nothing worse than a unexpected household repair bill like that - especially when the repair needs to be done! And make sure you do buy the parts for yourself and shop around - I have heard horror stories of people being told they need this that and the other when really they don't. Good luck!
Hope you are feeling a little better Rose
So much cooler here today. I met up with my parents down on the beach earlier and it was really damp so we enjoyed a nice warm latte from the cafe at the end of the prom. My parents lab was swimming in the sea as usual but my little chi kept well away! It is so funny to watch the two dogs together as their lab is a huge dog (the biggest lab they have had) but he is not overweight - just tall and athletic! And my little chi is 2lb 3oz so probably not half the size of his head but if he goes to close to her she barks at him and he backs right off! I always say to her 'Girl power - you put him in his place!'PS My mum cried when I gave her the canvas print of her dear cat! Bless - I love winning prizes for others!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
DS3 comes in and asks me to look up work shoes for him online. Can't wear mine he says. Why I ask. A lace is broken! :rotfl: He didn't know you could buy laces.
Had another crisis with DD. She was being refused to do a Geography Higher next year as her Geography teacher said she wasn't good enough and her homework was inconsistent which DD went mad about as she says they never get any. Teacher is known to be useless and hardly any of her class mates are even sitting the Int 2 this year. Anyway she went to the Geography head teacher and he insisted she was allowed as he has taught her in the past and as he is teaching it he got his way. All peaceful again now thank goodness. Not long until her exams though which will be stressful for us all!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Yes Good luck with you DD in her exams! Must admit I don't miss that part of my life! So glad studying and exams are over and done with!
Yes, I do love giving prizes to my family and friends. I put some away for birthdays and Christmas but sometimes I just say 'look what I have won for you!' Luckily all of my family accept my prize gifts with a smile, even though they know I got them for free. I think they all know I put time and effort into my hobby so they appreciate any freebies!
Hope you all have a relaxing evening! I missed Shetland last night so I am going to watch it on rewind. Great programme but I do struggle to understand the accent at times lol! Oh and guess what day it is.....:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
