I forgot all about it being April Fool's Day despite chatting about it on the bus. Listening to the radio they played two April Fool pranks. 1) they said with the red dust which was spotted on cars yesterday a rare bird had been spotted, they called it some strange name and asked listeners to phone in if they spotted it. They put a photo of a bird at a funny angle on their website (it was a racing pigeon) and maintained the bird came from the Sahara. 2) The TV had decided to use local accents for Daleks in Dr Who, so they played a wee man from Belfast speaking with Dalek sound effects.
Both went straight over my head it was only when they owned up at 12 I realised.

Good Morning,

Weather not doing much here - just dull looking. Glad to get away from the fog on our trip though. Did have a nice time but would have been perfect without the fog. Love how friendly the peeps are in that area. I always think I can talk until I go there.
Going to be busy today and plumber coming up at 10am to discuss work we are having done and look at a leak at our downstairs toilet.

Good morning all, thought I would be able to hang the washing out today but its raining again. Sigh.

Big hugs for your DH firefly and hope he feels better soon. My DH is on the mend now I am pleased to say.

Hope all goes well with the plumber Sheils, more money to spend I expect.

FF, hope your DH feels better soon! Must be man flu going round as it seems to be all the men who are suffering! My dad has it now so my mum is running around after him lol!
My eldest son is feeling better so he is going back to school today!
