Ahhh enjoy your evening Sylv! I am hoping to win a sewing machine! At the mo I go round to my parents house to use my mum's old Singer - it must be over 30 years old as I remember her using it when I was little! It weighs a tonne and is huge but it is still running even after all those years! I do a lot of hand stitching like patchwork and applique, and I also love tapestry and cross stitch! Do you sew Sylv? I studied home economics at school and I always remember the very first project I had - to sew a pair of boxer shorts!

Well today has been a weird sort of day - foggy and misty this morning (but mild) then it cleared and brightened up this afternoon but the sun never came out fully. Hoping for a few wems this week - fingers crossed!

That's my problem, I do tend to get obsessed with things..I may have (cough) entered the odd comp today..just in case I'm on a lucky streak.

Hi Bella, I don't really sew much these days but always made my clothes and the clothes for the girls when they were small. I also made hats and scarves and sold them at a Farmers Market many years ago.
