FF! I love Quorn too! I use it a lot to cook with! I love the cubes and mince - so easy to cook and a healthy alternative to red meats! I am not a veggie either - I just like the taste and the kids do too!

Morning all, wet day here too! The dogs peed on the stairs and I've just spilled a drink all over! Good start! :o

I don't know what I'm doing for tea yet fire**fly. Them quorns look nice but not tasted them. :) We haven't been shopping yet this week only for bits n bobs in farmfoods so hoping hubby will be up early after night shift to get food shopping as I'm at work soon.

That's nice to have your son home for weekend Sheils :) Will he be cooking for you? :D It is mothers day after all! :p

Lovely pics everyone, some cute ones!

It's no wonder I worry so much about my eldest DD. This morning going to school she crosses a road when I take youngest to her school and because she had her hood up she didn't even look to see if cars were coming. A car had to screech to a halt because of her walking out and I just stood and screamed! She never even looked back and carried on walking! I will be having words when she gets home!

Have a lucky Friday everyone! Xx

Meant to say....did anyone watch the dangerous dogs last night where they put an innocent playful dog down because it was classed as dangerous but it wasnt showing any signs of it? The owner didn't bother to return for it so they had to put it to sleep :( Very sad.

Ahhh poor Wingo - what a start! I am the same with the kids and roads - forever worrying and the wet weather make me worry more! So glad your daughter is ok but do have words!

No, I didn't watch the dangerous dogs programme - I love dogs and often don't watch those sorts of programmes as they can be upsetting. I just don't understand why people buy puppies then dump or shove them in the garden for being playful. That is what puppies are - playful and they can be destructive and pee and poop on the floor until you train them (much like kids!)! Some people just don't have the time or patience and it is so unfair on the puppies and dogs involved. AnimatedGIF-DogPuppiesBlinking.gif

Some great pics everyone - have pinched some to send to DHs old auntie. Hope you don't mind. She loves funny pics and doesn't go out much.

Sounds like you are having a great day wingo! I do think hoodys are dangerous, mind you hoods on coats are nearly as bad as you can't see properly. Didn't see the dog programme. DS2 won't be cooking again as he gets here really late tonight and is away to stay at a friends tomorrow night and we are away on Sunday. I didn't realise Sunday was Mothers Day when I booked our stay ages ago. It was only £25 and just booked it without thinking. DD isn't very pleased.
My mother is away too so not upsetting her.

2 x £25 Premier Inn nights at N. Shields Sylvia. Going to visit Seaton Delaval Hall on the way (Nat Trust vouchers to spend) and have a £30 Frankie & Benny voucher to spend too. Hoping it stays dry for us to walk to Tynemouth. We had been going to visit the Castle & Priory again but looks like it doesn't open through the week until Tuesday so not sure how to work it as SD Hall shut on Tuesday so can't visit it on return.
