and this is why disagreements should be aired and not done by pm.

Eek I had to laugh before! My younger brother rang me up to ask me what word I use when I talk to my girls about their private parts. I told him I say 'fou fou' and he just laughed. He said that his wife wants to say it is a 'daisy' when they talk to their little girl. I know my sister uses 'flower' with her daughter and my older brother uses 'fouf' with his daughter but isn't it funny what different ideas parents have!? When I talk to my sons, I always say 'willy' and so does my younger brother with his son. But my sister says 'winky' to her sons and my older brother uses 'tiddler' with his two sons! When I was little my mam just said mine was a poppet and my brothers was a sausage :)

I try not to get embarrassed talking about this subject with my kids, as I have seen the recent advert and I agree that parents should. My parents have told us that if they have had a few of the grandkids staying over, they have often heard them comparing the names of their private parts and they say is sounds so funny! Bless!

Va-jay-jay is my word of the moment :rotfl:
I think my mum used to refer to mine as my "private parts", which was always a bit clinical for a five year old!!!

LOL Jess, 'Va-jay-jay' that is a good one! I haven't heard of it called that before! My sister also used to say 'Tinky Winky' to her son when he was really young then progressed to 'Winky'. Tinker would be ok for a boys too! really-happy-bird-smiley-emoticon.gif

2 x £25 Premier Inn nights at N. Shields Sylvia. Going to visit Seaton Delaval Hall on the way (Nat Trust vouchers to spend) and have a £30 Frankie & Benny voucher to spend too. Hoping it stays dry for us to walk to Tynemouth. We had been going to visit the Castle & Priory again but looks like it doesn't open through the week until Tuesday so not sure how to work it as SD Hall shut on Tuesday so can't visit it on return.

    sounds great sheils :j
& as wingo says enjoy, tis mothers day after all :j
