Thanks FF! My youngest son was born three months premature and weighed only 1 lb. He was in the SCBU for the first three months of his life and he was always late in reaching his milestones. He is the smallest in his year group too and really should be in the year below but schools don't take into consideration a child's due date - just their birth date (if you know what I mean). He is always the first to pick up any bugs going around.
Yes, we have had a mish mash of weather today - sun, blue sky then black clouds, rain, thunder and lightening. Cannot believe that a few weeks ago I was on the beach in a t-shirt! Now I am back to wellies, hat, scarf, gloves and Winter coat!
Hope you all enjoy your evening! LOL Rose, you make me laugh - buying socks!
I won 3 pairs of those Heat Holder socks a few months ago and OMG they are soooooooo warm! I often just keep them on round the house! They are fleecy inside and my feet NEVER get cold wearing them! One of my best wins!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Hope your son is feeling better now Bella.
DD came home from school today saying she has volunteered to go to Spain and teach kids English. Some of her friends have volunteered too so will need to see what happens. Not very happy about it as we don't have proper details yet.
Sounds like you are going to have a busy time Sylvia.
We just had a few showers this afternoon too FF.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Sheils I like march too because it's closer to spring and warmer weather!
I've been to hospital all day for the tests and in between waiting for each test I tried to catch up on here and read up on posts on my phone. I managed to get onto internet and wrote a big post only for the Internet to go off before it posted!Gave up in the end!
Tests so far so good and all scans now done. I heard the thunderstorm while in the hospital! where did that come from, it was glorious this morning when I left!
Hope the downforum time isn't too long at the weekend, I better get my finger out and enter some!
That sounds exciting for your DD Sheils but maybe not the cost of it!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Sheils,
The weather man on our local forecast this evening said it is supposed to get milder by the weekend and no more storms so fingers crossed! And I would tell your son that he need to find out all the info about the teaching post in Spain - when I was over there working as a rep I met some English teachers who were doing just that and their accommodation was awful and had been broken into twice!
Wingo - good luck with your results (hug):TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
