  • Unless it is a really dirty load, you will be find with just the one tablet. I only every use 1.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I often do a load if I dont have washing powder, and the clothes have still come out clean and smelling like my normal powder. I think this is because there is still residue inside the machine.

    Hello steph25

I agree that you can wash them with one tablet. However, if you check the collars and cuffs of the school shirts/blouses and see that they're grimey........run a bar of soap over the grimey stains before you put them in the machine.;)

    Regards

I would half the tablet and get 2 washes out of it. If there are any marks use the ace first.
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks for all the replies :)

Just wanted to ask a quick question...

I used to only buy persil powder when kiddie was a baby cause of excema...
Then as she got older i started to buy what one was on offer..
Now I buy tesco or asda ones think its about £2.50 for a box of 40 tablets

Im thinking now i might try the value stuff (save the pennies)..
    But is it any good?

How long is a piece of string? Your question is very difficult to answer because we don't know what results you're prepared to accept.;)

If you need complete stain removal, you probably wouldn't achieve that with value stuff.

If you need to keep your whites white, you probably wouldn't achieve that with value stuff.

If I'm not washing whites or tackling stained garments, I use Surf.;)

personally i would be tempted to stick with a non bio if anyone has suffered from exzema, at the moment all i can use with my little boy is filetti (which is annoying as i have so much washing powder and liquid i bought when it was on offer)
the cheap value powder is biological so you may find it will cause reactions with the skin, as a washing powder its good as i used to use it before any of my boys were born
