are there any super markets with cooked food hot ready to eat to take home?

Why not take some upmarket ready meals when they're on offer and heat them in the microwave? Surely cheaper and nicer than a previously-hot-now-gone-cold takeway from a supermarket....

you can cook loads of nutritious and filling meals in a microwave. I can recommend Marks & Spencer's ready meals, you can cook extra veg if you have a good appetite. Jacket potatoes are ok, add some baked beans and grated cheese for a tasty supper. You can get toasted sandwich makers for a few pounds.

No hob means you won't be able to boil an egg or make a fry-up but otherwise most things are poss with an oven and microwave. More importantly will you have a fridge ?
  • You don't say if you have a freezer but you could could easily batch cook meals and freeze them. Then microwave to heat through.
Things like an oven cooked chilli served with rice one night then jacket spud the next. Ok so its not totally different but its filling and cheap.
Or consider a little camping stove if you need a hob.

Really people need to know what you consider minimal kitchen facilities? Do you have a fridge, kettle and toaster? Why not look to buy things such a steamer, a slow cooker and a healthy fryer? You'll be able to cook plenty on those. You can also get elec rings. All of which you can take with you when you leave.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Something like this would be cheap enough not to be the end of the world, if it got left behind.

I can reheat! lol! also, I think I know how to roast and fry

but I have to also admit I am lazy

and have limited time to cook

I would like just to go buy a packet of hot food and salad and eat it home

as eating is my major concern, I will basically find a place to live near where I will find a solution for eating!

virtually every area in London (including central London) has cheap/reasonably priced food joints.

I would short list 2-3 areas that you would consider based on rent, commute etc and then come back here for ideas.
