11) Joy Christmas stocking- nearly there

13) Decorate a champaign bottle and present it DONE
14) bucilla advent calendar
For Mums birthday I gave her an IOU for tickets to tour the Harry potter set. As I didn't have the actual tickets to give her I did a special letter instead.
I've not tea bag stained anything since I was at school but used a wet tea bag to make a piece of paper look like parchment, while still wet I sprinkled a few grains of coffee on. Then I wrote in green pen as Dumbledore himself wrote in green and added a red seal with a H on the back. On the front it had Mums name and our address but with 'master bedroom' added.
The letter said;
To Mrs D George
Happy Birthday. You are invited to Hogwarts. Sadly you are past the age limit to be a student, your too tall to be a house elf and have CSE's instead of OWLs so can't be a teacher.
Due to this we are inviting you following a bribe from Vikki. You will walk down Diagon Alley, enter the Great Hall and see Hogwarts from dawn to dusk.
Vikki will also bribe us to give you the devices to hear about what your seeing,
Enjoy your visit,
A Dumbledore
This is brillianr. Better than just giving the tickets :T0 -
My sewing machine has a cabinet but I was still worried about dust so I decided to make a cover.
I cut the fabric big enough to fit the sewing machine pedal in as well. Then I decided to make a separate bag for the pedal. Hence pleats in the sewing machine cover for a better fit. No one will see the cover as the machine will be covered up when down in the cabinet. I will take the cover off when I raise the sewing machine to working height. I lined both the cover and the bag.
I am storing the Fat Quarters Packs I bought yesterday on the shelf in my sewing machine cabinet.

vikki - great gift idea.
dundee doll - love the cards and the blanket is - wow!
sweetcarer - your stitching is exquisite.
Been having a sort out here - 2 bags of assorted stuff went to the charity shop. Then Mr F took a bag of records out of the house. Now I have another big bag full of various items ready in the hall.
I have a started bag of craft stuff that is leaving my stash - makes me a bit of space as well as money for Cancer Research.
I found a doll that I made a while ago - she is now sitting on top of my computer desk. I hope she will inspire me to start making dolls again. So sharing doll photos as nothing else made yet. Obviously - not a 2014 list item.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Having said that my knitted converse baby booties were a bit of a hit and two people have now asked me to make some for their future grandchildren, so that's another two projects to add to the list.Cross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -
