You eat normally whatever that is for 5 days of the week and for 2 days (not both together) you restrict yourself to intake of 500 cals. If you stick to it it does work well but I'm not good at sticking to anything.
I am back to using the myfitness pal ap on the ipad - might be suitable for keeping track for anyone on this 5 2 regime
It gives you a daily dairy and you can enter your meals, drinks and snacks and set it against your exercise. It also monitors your nutrition intake and plots it on a graph etc
The bit I like its that when you have pressed done at the end of each day it tells you where your weight might be in 5 weeks time
I got a vegetarian macaroni cheese reduced in marks at the weekend put it in the freezer - bargain at 90p :T I've just put it in the ap - didn't realise it was supposed to feed 2 - 700 cals
So Ive had to saw it in half, half back into the freezer :rotfl:
I think this is what happens with most of us - we all eat too big a portion size and this is why weight gradually creeps on over the years as our metabolic weigh drops but we continue with too large a portion“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Afternoon folks:wave:

Today I feel a little better and so I am doing my best not to overdo it - like most people, I just want to catch up with things when I feel almost human.
Pregablin didn't agree with me at all, left me feeling even more dreadful than before. At the end of the month I have a neck facet joint injection, at least I hope to as last time it was cancelled when I fainted!
Reading this thread and occasionally contributing has really helped me to focus away from the constant pain. You see, the Elite is actually medication and should be free on the NHS
sending hugs to you and you are right reading this thread do help with the pain xbroke my back doing glitching
