Work, Ts, home, Parents round, now Last Tango in Halifax :T

Did well in Ts with a duck crown 75% off - I walked away from the turkeys :eek::rotfl:
Got a dented in date family prawn cocktail for £1 - just as well as Parents decided to have tea with us
then proper made ham with fried eggs

and I've been eyeing up those fresh cream chocolate logs with the gold glitter at £6
But just as we leaving Ts they got whoopsied to £1.20 :T:T
and fresh trifles for 42p so I don't have to make cake for sisters birthday :D:D:D
All the cheap electricals - the staff have had them it seems ...

My attempt at whoopsies was awful Didn't get 1 thing. Gutted!
Think I must have been too late as there was hardly anything in T's so nipped up to A's and the shelf in there was empty too. Ah well, hopefully new years eve will be better!

Just wrapped DD's presents and now sitting with a cup of tea! Really must get to bed earlier tonight don't want to be falling asleep in my Christmas dinner!

I left dgd in safe hands with her father at 6.40 and dd walked in at 8pm. She says paris is having weather kent had yesterday. Hopes midwinters ds is being put up at airport hotel as she says paris is one of her favorite terminals.

I couldn't face dinner tonight so called into m and s garage and collected a picnic tea. Loads of whoopsies. Not meaga cheap but not a cheap garage so reductions were gratefully received. Saw the mega packs of walnut whips so I have a reduction target to find one as love these.
Despite feeling very rough I had lovely day with dgd. Nice just being us too and not rushing around visiting.

Limited to freeview here so been working out telly for tomorrow night. Watch downton and then dr who on catch up on tablet.

FC I am sure you visitor will have a great time and feel very welcome. If he is your ds1s age it is strange parents have just dumped him and not taken him with them. Oh well prehaps they have their own reasons for escaping christmas.

Have a couple of exciting photos to post in a bit regarding the darts. Have been on sky sports apparently.
