My a Tesco (Salford) not reducing turkeys beyond 50% - going to food bank after that.

Open house at fire station round the corner tonight.
Big barrel with fire in in front of station, lots and lots of people standing round including so many fire fighter.
If I had been home I would have filled car with goodies to donate.
I think they are supplying a warm place for all to stay tonight.

    Flipping good idea too:cool:

    good evening elite

thank you tinyshoes and trulymadly for your hugs and best wishes earlier, i took the advice and tackled the day one step at a time,

hospital went better than i thought never knew they were going to use camera to see throat was yuck but the conclusion was nothing to serious just a condition from the chronic anemia that i have , got to go back in 4 weeks to keep an eye on it but hopefully when the anemia improves so should my throat..:j

so my spirits improved went shopping for dd2 filled her fridge freezer and cupboards including some ready meals for when she does not feel like cooking.. now she has come here until boxing day with the baby :T
then a marathon wrapping session, cooked gammon in cola cheated on xmas cake and log as i always make them but had not so brought swiss rolls and fruitcake and just decorated (no one will know )
laid the large table in conservatory, all xmassy washed best glasses and prepared veg

think i may have found my xmas spirit :j:j:j:j
