I've seen the candles in a few stores. Still haven't found a 4 or a 6  :rotfl:
Also little mermaid party plates, napkins and tablecovers are being sold off for 25p. I know what the theme of DDs 3rd birthday will be
My small one is OBSESSED with the 'nernaid' !
I shall be looking out for these also!0 -

Keep an eye on fleabay and freecycle. Fleabay often have bed frames for for 99p.
You are centally located and can search by distance. I would have no problem collecting the parts one at a time and taking on bus if needed to but you could probably find something within walking distance just take a few trips. A fair few sellers are hppy to help deliver if round the corner.
If council are sent round not a lot they can do unless they give you a new bed.

Thank youJeez - there really are some criminally insane folks about ! What on earth are people thinking of putting themselves (and others) at so much risk ! Unbelievable.

Hi everyone:wave: Back to work today, found it soooo hard to get up this morning
Have just been for a walk to try and shift some Xmas pounds but then ate a load of Xmas fudge and chocolate - that wasn't part of the plan!
Have written my calendar, which has made me feel quite organised. I like the look of The 7.39 which is on BBC1 at 9pm, so my aim is to be all sorted for tomorrow and settled down to watch that at 9. Hope everyone has had a good day and you have been more successful at keeping to your resolutions than me :A (at least I haven't had any wine - yet!)0 -

My mister has apologised but unless she's gonna buy us a new bed, what can we do? She's said she's going to involve the council; good for her she can stick it up her bum :mad::mad:
I've just realised, your neighbour must be Meddlesome Ratbag.
Remember her, from Viz comic? An interfering old biddy, who would create problems just so she could complain about them - ask the neighbours to look after her dog for the afternoon., 'cos she had to go to the doctor, then go straight to the council to complain that the neighbours were keeping a dog and it was barking too loud ... that kind of thing ...
