For a few weeks we've been mulling over getting rid of Sky and moving to BT. Ie losing Sky TV and using BT for calls and broadband.

Broadband is £16 pm but free for 6 months
line rental is either £15.99 pm or £141 for 12 months in advance

Free Sainsburys gift card for £40

BT TV will be £5 per month

We aren't watching much on Sky. DH will pay separately for £3.99 for Eurosport cycling on his laptop.

Set aside tonight to sort it all out

Our monthly payments will drop from £55 to £25

Just decided to check out TCB

    :T:T:T:T:T:T

They are offering £147 for new customers.:T:T:T:T
If he would prefer to watch it on the TV, it may be worth buying one of those £10 Now TV boxes if he can get it on there TM.

Just been to my local Mr Shoes and...............the shelves are empty :cry::cry: now not sure if I should head to the one in the city but means taking the day off work and it's 30 mins drive and from a MSE point, petrol, loss of wage, car parking etc doesn't really justify it, but I really want to go!!!!

What are the minimum requirements to use a NOW TV box?
You'll need a Sky Movies Pass, Sky Sports Day Pass or a NOW TV Entertainment Month Pass. You'll also need a TV with an HDMI port, Wi-Fi connection and a minimum broadband download speed of 2.5Mbps. Let us know if you don't have an HDMI port and we'll give you steps on getting a mini-jack to RCA cable.

But if we cancel Sky Dave we wouldn't be able to use it?

I had pleurisy this time last year. it's very unpleasant and painful :( it's a lung inflammation, usually you get it after you've had a cold or other virus. Luckily in my case the worst of it cleared up pretty quickly. I hope she's better soon.

Sounds awful glad yours cleared up quickly.

Month before hols she started with a cold and couldn't shake it off then middle of the last week before we broke up she was coughing and said all her body felt strange but she couldn't explain how and she looked awful we had to make her rest when service was on which she did.

    Good morning:hello:

    Hope everyone is well.
Christmas is finally over in our house, tree and all decs came down this morning. It's amazing how large the living room looks now...all toy boxes located to there original homes

It's my birthday today so I always take the tree down early morning, have a good tidy, then my birthday can start:)

    Can anyone help?
I bought a love your body card but haven't had my birthday email with the code on to use instore... Could it arrive anytime during the month? I've never had a lyb card before so don't know how it works...
    Thankyou in advance

Hope the sun is shining where you are... It is here:j
    Have a lovely day
    Mt2m:)

Reply might be a bit late but have you registered your card to your online account? Needs to be done to get the email. Not sure how card works in store though. Might just have to write your details on card and claim. Not sure as dad got his card instore and they filled out a form but latest batch of cards did not have a form so I think register online. Just change dob by a week to get your gift now.

Gggrrr neighbour from downstairs knocking on our door to complain about our bed squeaking  Not in that way either, our bed is old and poo. My mister has apologised but unless she's gonna buy us a new bed, what can we do? She's said she's going to involve the council; good for her she can stick it up her bum :mad::mad:

Getting good at this piccy thing :D

Get your Mister to get an allen key out and make sure all fixings are tight. My bed has been known to work itself loose occasionally.
Keep an eye on fleabay and freecycle. Fleabay often have bed frames for for 99p.
You are centally located and can search by distance. I would have no problem collecting the parts one at a time and taking on bus if needed to but you could probably find something within walking distance just take a few trips. A fair few sellers are hppy to help deliver if round the corner.

If council are sent round not a lot they can do unless they give you a new bed.
