quick question for the elite please, when should you take xmas decorations down by, when we were kids always told that bad luck to leave them up after a certain date social have phoned to tell me my grandchildren are coming over on wednesday:j:j:j:j so i would like to leave them up till then so their pressies can be under the tree, but oh says we dont need any more bad luck x thanks

Should be by midnight tonight(6th December), depends how superstitious you are x

Mind you, just looked and CofE says that 12th night was yesterday, lol!

Hope everyone is well.
Christmas is finally over in our house, tree and all decs came down this morning. It's amazing how large the living room looks now...all toy boxes located to there original homes

It's my birthday today so I always take the tree down early morning, have a good tidy, then my birthday can start:)

Can anyone help?
I bought a love your body card but haven't had my birthday email with the code on to use instore... Could it arrive anytime during the month? I've never had a lyb card before so don't know how it works...

Good morning all, enjoyed the newborn pictures, congratulations to the parents and the Great Grandmothers, and all.
Enjoyed christmas and new year in spain, just seen dd2 off to uni for the start on the new term, opened her bedroom door and closed it again quick in case anything escaped and she has the biggest bedroom in the house.
no new babies in this house but DIL gorgeous labrador has given birth to 6 puppies, 4 chocolate and 2 black which are up for sale, only 3 days old at the moment.
now back looking for this years glitches ect and hopefully find some to post.

Hi, it's usually the 6th January.... Mum is extremely superstitious too. Our tree always came down after my Birthday party when I was growing up:)

thanks i am not superstitious but oh says we had such a crap year last year better not tempt it think i will take them down today
