Where do you get your book stock from?

I have a few hundred listed on Amazon but after the postal costs went up I took all of the books worth less than a pound off as you ended up making a loss after fees and postage. mostly now its thin light books I've got listed and only to the UK.
At most I only sell one or two books a month.
Ebay is even worse, not even listed anything since last spring as the fees and postage were so bad.
greenmetrpolis - I think its a year since I sold anything on there.

Mostly from jumble sales and boot sales but as you say the postal costs and ereaders have largely finished off the 2nd hand book market.I have almost given up on it.It was good while it lasted.I only sell to Uk as well.Greenmet is a joke.

:D:D I thought of you as I typed it, I wondered if you would notice :)

I can't get any mocs to print on SSM at the moment

Stopped working for me too and one or two other people I know. It appears like it's working, but nothing prints.

Agree, greenmetropolis has really tailed off. Think I made about £250 on it originally, but I'm talking about 8 years ago now, maybe more.

Free stamps from the postal survey helps, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered using this route.

    Evian was for Topcashback
Very sparse shelves in sada - no Mccain wedges which I wanted as I had a MOc and also £2/£1 so a nice addition to my APG.

  • Listed a whole pile of stuff on Amazonian over the weekend, sold my first thing today but the charges are a killer, even worse than Fleabay (which I only list on when its free).

Had a look at Magpie but its a complete rip off with only 30p for most CDs, would rather put them to charity.

Back to work tomorrow, groan :(

Not good is it, trouble is books are one of my very bad weaknesses, cant resist buying them eg when the Works has them marked down to 24p or 49p . The house is so stuffed with books and I love winning books from Twitter - most have won another 20 last year, seems to be my one talent.

So sadly quite a few of my larger heavier books now go to the Oxfam bookshop

Some of the books Ive had listed on Amazon have been on there for years, every so often I make an attempt to go through the list and tidy it up, some I don't even know if I still have or not :)
