My hobby for 4 years was selling books. From when I first got my first laptop in 2006.

    In 2006 i made £675
    2007 £1033
    2008 £696
    2009 £441
    2010 £247

As you can see the amounts went down due to royal mails postage increases.
I didn't do trade in but sold on marketplace on Amazon,Ebay.Play and greennmet. Also traded in on Musicmagpie cds and dvds. They send you a free postage label.

Selling books is very hard work now so I don't sell many now although I have still a few hundred listed.Only non fiction books sell and the thinner and lighter the better.

Where do you get your book stock from?

I have a few hundred listed on Amazon but after the postal costs went up I took all of the books worth less than a pound off as you ended up making a loss after fees and postage. mostly now its thin light books I've got listed and only to the UK.
At most I only sell one or two books a month.
Ebay is even worse, not even listed anything since last spring as the fees and postage were so bad.
greenmetrpolis - I think its a year since I sold anything on there.

If you got some of the shortcrust pastry from before christmas you can make a nice Stilton and celery quiche (can be eaten hot too so a tart too) very nice as celery stays crunchy after cooking.
Line pie dish 7" with pastry. Add 2 sticks of celery sliced in 5mm slices, crumble 150g of Stilton over this, beat 2 eggs and 100ml of single cream and 100ml of milk with some salt, pepper and nutmeg if you have it.
Bake at 200degrees for 10mins then at 180 for 25 mins
    Hth

Some... I have loads and I mean loads!

No celery, cream or pie dish, but I do have mushrooms!

Afternoon guys. Quiet day here. Lads took down their decorations/tree and I helped put everything back in boxes to store away. Wind died down yesterday but still raining today, and forecast not good at all for tonight and tomorrow again :(

ooh chocolate whirls... I have done loads of these, but the kids have had enough.

They have had enough sausage rolls as well!

But still liking cheese and onion rolls, but not done so many!

They really love a form of puff pizza... I cut one sheet into 2 and spread with sundried tomato paste, garlic paste, onion, mush, tom, sprinkle of stilton and goats cheese and a little chilli oil...

    Yummy
