Seems not many people on a night out tonight...but then what would I know about such things?:D:rotfl: Quieter than 'normal' Sat. night in Mr A as well, but car park not as empty as I expected. Obviously the post-festive period and the cold weather. I bet the TV ratings are a little higher than normal!

I too never go out. I spent 11 years working in a pub and worked every Sat night, Sunday Lunch and Bank Holidays. So I cherish being at home. TV rating would be up if there was anything to watch.

    Evening paw sniffers

I have cyclists sleeping over ahead of a "big" ride tomorrow. Porridge and blueberries planned for breakfast:)

Is DH doing that Strava bike ride challenge again? ( think it was Jan last year) If I remember correctly by the end of it you were taking a rolling pin to his legs :rotfl:
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Thanks for the tip-off on the A Fruits Forest (500g) £2 vs £2 M. Not some Blackforest Gateau, as I had hoped, but some fruit instead. Um, interesting.

Also - forgot to mention - if anyone wants to go a little mad, and perhaps a little risky too, T's Frosted Flakes 500g £1.55 x 3 vs A at 3 for £3 (same price per unit as the 750g Kellogg's Frosties). I never know though - you may have cond.spends that help or extra points or MOCs off ridiculous spend on own-brand cereal:rotfl:.

Personally I prefer the Shredded Wheat (30 pack), once it starts - not yet! - to compare vs Waities at £1.34. See, I was only going to buy one vs Sains. (£1.59 there), but at that vs W price, they'd have me buying two (if my store hadn't had only one left - that saved me losing even more in the event). Not a patch on glitch price of 34p each (or whatever it was), but otherwise - once it gets updated properly - very very good. So, instead of going for one vs £1.59 and getting one for about £1.43, I'd be going for two vs £1.34 - thus (if it worked yet) about £2.40 for the two - and thus I am paying more money. Although getting twice as much as well (in theory, if it had worked).
  • Right, done my menu planning for next week (and hopefully a bit longer), so just going to pop into Sada to get the few things I need. (The recipes have been planned round what I've already got, to save some early New Year pennies.)
Well, I was very good, and stuck to my shopping list ... oh, apart from a jar of Sugar Sparkle Dust (edible silver lustre sprinkle), don't know what I'm going to use it for yet (maybe on doughnuts?), but it was reduced to just 10p.

The first time I did it, the SA read both vouchers then pointed out a
That one voucher could not be used in conjunction with the other. I mentioned that it worked before. He just scanned them and it was fine. Today I called over an SA and asked for help as I had vouchers and she just scanned them for me and it worked. She said that I could have just scanned them myself which I will do next time:)

Sorry TM one more question which voucher did you scan first please?

I can get a bit saddened thinking about not going out - though there's the reason behind and as to why I've had little social success. (Let's change the subject!) (I tend to think - nay, I believe - there are more positives than negatives now though.)
You're right on the TV - I was, of course, talking about the aggregate total across all TV channels - each individual channel gets lower and lower audience now there are so many channels. And, as you say, usually little worth watching. (Let's change the channel!:D)
