It's him and my mum, she's a few years off pension age. Dad works full time and mum doesn't so income for them both is pretty tight :(

Although I did just work out that he is going to be about £500 a month better off by getting his state pension and no longer paying NI :D

Misery guts had one mature a few years ago, and we think he got a letter saying this is his much you'll get and this is when you'll get it, then he had a cheque come through

    That's good QoC.

Is he the type that would like to be reminded of his age or would he prefer to just let it pass?

    I was playing Batman :o

Sorry PD. It was a tricky bit I had to defuse 4 bombs and defeat a villain with a jet pack and a flame thrower

And my phone was in the other room, as it always is :rotfl:

    Shifting ideas.

    No tv for 2 weeks.

    No internet.

    Mobile switched off.

    No distractions.

Time to spent together as a family.

Needs to go on holiday more often.

My idea of hell . A few hours without internet and we are onto Virgin Media to get it sorted :o.

Virgin media were outside my house on New Year's Day when the weather was really crappy, fixing what seemed to be the longest outage ever. No broadband, the TV went and my 3G signal is shocking :mad:

    I went shopping instead :rotfl:
