My boots account got hacked yesterday. Luckily they'd changed password and email was sent to my email address, so when I tried logging in account was locked. Phoned boots and they reset password. Luckily nothing was changed, and I'd spent majority of points recently. Never know whether they know the password or just use software to break it, as my passwords are pretty random.
for anyone who wants to create hard-to-guess passwords.
Just remember to make a note of them somewhere - easy way is to paste them into a text file, print it out and keep it safe (ie, not stuck to the side of the computer), then if the worst comes to the worst and the computer/laptop gets stolen, the passwords aren't with it.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
