You should be able to find codes around for buyagift itself.Sunshinemummy wrote: »
On a different subject.. has anyone had an endowment policy mature with Friends Provident? Do you know what happens? Do they send a cheque or send a form to claim it? Ours is due on the 1st feb! Looking forward to it... it may just about cover the Flipping Gas bill!:o:o:o:o:o:o
No harm in getting in touch with them now. They should be able to put the money straight into your account. Check that the policy isn't assigned to the lender still. Sometimes mortgages are paid off but the policy is still assigned.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Is he on his own? (sorry). Is he retired? If so, jam, marmalade, biscuits, cheese, cake, tea, coffee, mega hamper on stuff that he wouldn't get himself - treats etc. Doing the same for my dad, thanks to zippy's help.
It's him and my mum, she's a few years off pension age. Dad works full time and mum doesn't so income for them both is pretty tight
Although I did just work out that he is going to be about £500 a month better off by getting his state pension and no longer paying NISunshinemummy wrote: »And he has not opened the bloody post!
I have gone upstairs before I say something... Just keep reminding myself it is all superficial stuff and does not matter!
