Hey logie,
Avon is ok, the Christmas period is horrible to work over. It's completely impractical to deliver catalogues to 126 houses though in a week though. Half the stuff ordered doesn't get delivered so I'm letting people down. I'm gonna persiviere with it though. I hate to give up on anything lol. I'll give it 6 months and then re assess.
How's you?
Ah that's a pain. I always feel really stressed about letting people down.
In fact there was an article in the Independent today pretty much saying how it is the worst thing about my role.
http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/health-news/a-call-from-the-midwife-why-i-am-resigning-after-10-years-in-the-nhs-9035417.html
Despite recognising everything in the article I'm still really looking forward to heading back to work. Think I've got my rose tinted specs on2 and a half weeks to go!
Hopefully Avon will be a bit easier as the weather improves. Can't be pleasant out in the cold, wind and rain delivering catalogues.♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

I bet you are counting down the days! How long since you were last there?
Im returning to work on Monday after 3 mths off - spoke to my boss on new years eve and she suggested I return as a member of my team under the locum who has been covering for me, rather than to my role  Everyone in my team is furious, they've all said he creates more problems than he solves. So it'll be an interesting discussion on Monday. I understand her concern, that if my son gets worse or needs more treatment I'll need time off again, but I want my job back! (after 10 years of doing it, with no complains or disciplinaries):hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0 -

Thanks I do google a fair bit but only shows a prize I won in the summer. Several wins never shoed via goggle.
Will just keep fingers crossed. I check the facebook winners thread and an on the mse fb comping page. Will get involved in some comping with effort comps and see how I fair.
Afternoon all
Not caught up yet so I don't know if teenytinyshoes has made an apperance but I do know that TS dd1 wanted to wait until 5th before anything drastic.
I am sure mega glitch shopping with her mum would do the trick:eek:
Stormy here and having thunder and lightening so staying put. Flylady thread was read last night but I think some pointilisum might be more fun.
