I'm feeling thick this morning, so did you go through a till with a couple of items and buy a £20 gift voucher at the time using APGs to pay or did you ask CS to put APGs on a gift voucher?

    Hi Floflo.
I went to my usual SA picked up a xmas savings card from the check out and asked 1st to put £20 onto the card then put through about £6 of shopping, then handed over the 2 apgs. Hope this helps.

I cooked my gammon in the slow cooker with about an inch of coke at the bottom yesterday. I had it on low for about 6 hrs. It was cooked fine but a bit dry, probably due to the meat. I was a bit disappointed but will try again another day. My dh thought it was possibly overdone but I'd checked with a food thermometer & it was about 85c so I don't think so. Possibly I didn't cook it enough. Not much help but I'm pretty sure that's how others had said to cook it.

it tastes nice i think, i put ham in slow cooker then cover with coke and cook for bout 4-5 hours never dry maybe you didnt put enough coke in

That's great, I will do this later, thank you.

Does anyone know if these cards can just be added to each time or do you need a new card every time? Can you use them to shop online at Asda?

Hi I also cover my gammon joints with coke completely and I have never had problem with the meat being dry. I cook mine for about 6 hours. I pull the fat off, glaze with honey and mustard and put it in a hot oven for 10 mins to cook the glaze.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Tosco* glitch! Choc sprinkles £2.15 + icing writing set £1.98 = £4.13 but till scans at £1 total after a weird 2 for £1 offer is taken off [which is the glitch] so got £16.52 baking bits for £4!

Might work on other items as well so worth a play if you're going in store anyway.
