:DMy kitchen drawer-of-junk wouldn't shut today until I released a piece of cardboard stuck at the back - it was the cooking instructions for these fish things :)
We call it the busy drawer:)

I am honestly crying with laughter here.
Every night when I put my boy to bed he calls me up a few minutes later with some random excuse - His nose is running, his leg hurts, he can hear the cat outside, he wants a drink of water etc.

Tonight's excuse............... My bottom's itchy :rotfl:
I failed miserably in keeping a straight face :o:D:rotfl:

Seems like he is prepared to invent illness

I used stay upstairs for about 10 mins

Doing bits of jobs so to settle him

As I made myself busy he knew I was about

    And nodded off quite quickly:)

I was looking for one you posted about the £5 hampers from Waitrose Were they free delivery to store please Sunshinemummy or to the house. Guess at that price it would be to the store.

It was not me Em, but I think they are to be collected from the story

    The tray looks good

Here's a few more, you can tick off the ones he's already used:):

    He's too tired
    He's not tired
    He's thirsty
    He's hungry
    He has to pee
    He has to poo
    He has to pee again
He forgot he has to watch more cartoons
    He's wearing the wrong pyjamas
    His sleeves are too short
He has a hair in his mouth
    He needs a tissue
His pyjama leg is pulled up
    He's too hot
    He's very freezing cold
    His toes are sticking out
He needs to play Wii Golf
The coat-hanger is crooked (like this! pointing his elbow to the ceiling)
There is a tiny corner of a sock sticking out of his dresser drawer
    His tummy feels warm
He has to go pick up the fork he dropped at supper
He just wants one more big hug
    He's mad at me
He needs to talk to granddad. “On the pone.”
He forgot to put his teddy to bed
    It’s too dark
    It’s too bright
He thinks it’s “actually still daytime”
    His eye is too itchy
    His bed is too small
    His hair is too long
He’d like to know if he could please have a lollipop
His red shoes need to go into the living room
Basically the entire contents of his bedroom need to be cleared out into the living room
He just needs to do a cough. *cough cough*
He just has to tell me one more thing
He thinks he needs a plaster
    Or maybe an ice pack
    He wants a different blanket
He wanted a different bedtime story
He forgot to give Daddy a kiss
He forgot to give the cat a kiss
He forgot to brush his tongue
There’s a fly in his room
His blankets aren’t “all cover me up”
    His eyes can’t close
He wants to have a sleepover!
He has to show me a dance
He has to finish his hiccups
He just needs three more minutes

and when they are big and hairy the excuses get even stranger... but it is in relation to why they have not come home!

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
