Which phones work with Paypal Here?

Hi all, we are looking to get a phone which we can use with Paypal Here mobile payments system. Paypal says it needs to be android or iphone, 3GS, have GPRS and a microphone socket 3.5mm. It also says on their website that not all phones work at the moment with the system... so can anyone please confirm if their make of phone does actually work with Here?

PayPal here is a relatively new service so why not ask PayPal? You need to register and agree to their t&c to use the service as well as buy the card reader.

The problem of what phone works is likely to be more android related. As often different networks as slightly different software builds so PayPal cannot know exactly what build will b on each phone. It could be a stock android image, one of a number of revisions of either the makers or networks image or a custom rom the end users flashed on to the phone.
