Thanks, I understand that, but when you have different sectors of the DWP dealing with the different benefits I get, I haven't the foggiest as to which one to telephone.
Industrial Injuries Benefit Dept
ESA
DLA
Carers Allowance Unit
Pension Service.
I have no intention of ringing them all up as no doubt each will blame the other landing me with a telephone bill equal to what they owe me!!!
Any ideas will be most welcome, or is it decided on the toss of a coin?
I'm probably going to have the same problems with my State pension application - having to wait for them to send me the forms out which is supposed to happen at least 4 months before my 65th birthday. I am now at 3 months and a week to go and counting down!!0 -

Well I took the bull by the horns.
3 calls to the jobcentre (ESA)
4 to the Pension Service.
Bottom line PS say the JC are responsible as ESA is a 'primary benefit. JC agree that they would normally issue it but as it's Contributory ESA they won't and told to contact the PS. PS say the PC claim is in my wife's name (she was the one over 65 at the time) and as such she has had her half of the WFP, told to contact the JC and push for it. Rang JC who still deny responsibility and suggest that I complain to the PS telling them that they must authorise the JC to issue my £110.Rang PS............. A total of just under 2 hours and still no further on!!
Forget it, I have more important things to do.0 -

My husband and I didn't know about this£10, so I contacted the bank and found there was a DWPXB payment on the same day as my pension, in early December, so assume that is mine. However, there is only one in our account and my husband's pension payments have not changed, so a call will have to be made.0

I would if I was you, but don't hold out any great hopes of getting anywhere.0 -

I had to call about mine and eventually got it in the last week of January, several weeks after I phoned. I first phoned ESA as they had given me it last year but as I'm only getting credits they said no it was DLA. Phoned DLA and they said because ESA hadn't told them they weren't giving it hadn't given it either.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
