has anyone found these to have really bad signal/network coverage? we have and hardly ever have any signal but when I put my sim into an old phone I have full signal.

spoke to ee who think its the phone but got to speak to technical soon

our package is good and haven't seen it as good/or cheap anywhere else and would prefer to keep package and get a different phone if its a normal problem with iphone and not smart phones in general on tmobile

All phones have different radio sensitivities (they have to fit within a range of values to pass). Some will be better than others, even for the sane make and model.

Only a diagnostic check can confirm the values, if outwith the range, the phone is deemed faulty, if not - it isn't. A check is your only option.

Don't personally have a problem with that combo.
But yes iPhones don't result in the best signal.

Be sure your not grasping the phone connecting the individual metal surround parts together with your skin.
