That would worry me much more than the seller being in China - try to find the same goods from a seller with 99+%.

    hi all,,
the thing to remember is although most brand names come from china, YOU can't buy brand names, if you do they are fake, I have sold lots of phones, tablets, watches, cameras (all unbranded) with no more problems than I have buying over here, Delivery can be a bit slow if you go for the free option, but you can still make decent money by paying for the express option (if you are careful):

I buy a lot from china. You generally get as good as or better quality than buying from UK sellers. I've not had anything that wasn't as described.

not always, sometimes they are just part of the grey economy

    eg..

Nike agree a deal with Chinese factory to make 1M pairs of shoes for £5 a pair (later to sell for £100) , factory makes 1.1M pairs and sells the extra 100,000 pairs on ebay / Aliexpress for £25 a pair.

have only bought lower value jewellery, hair stuff, etc and has take a while to get here, but thus is clearly stated on the listing. I've only ever had 1 thing not turn up, so I messaged and they apologised and sent a replacement without quibble.
As for less than 100% feedback, such is the volume of sales, there are bound to be some dissatisfied customers. Remember- Paypal is your friend in times of problems ;)

I've had some beautiful real gemstone beads from China. Shows just how outrageously over-priced at least one famous 'jeweller's stuff is. .
