The trick to getting them for a 20 pound spend is only to spend about 6 or 7 pound for a few weeks and shop elsewhere for the rest - as they then try and entice you back - that's only my guess but it does seem to work that way!Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Quite a scary journey home from work due to the bad weather and winds - hope it calms down for tomorrow! and fingers crossed my fence stays up as some neighbours have lost theirs.
Went shopping after work - got everything on my list but ended up buying a few more bargain things (including a couple of boxes of chocs on offer for upcoming birthdays) so it came in at 25.56 plus I gained 88 points using points off vouchers -( I've already collected 880 points since December - mainly using the extra points vouchers and I save these for next Christmas)
I'm well stocked up now and should only need bread / milk until late next week.
Enjoyed a very short walk tonight, would have stayed out longer but it nearly blew me off my feet. Going to enjoy a bit of tv now and a catch up on here.Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

yay I've been paid and the payments out of this months wage towards morg / debts are 773 and will reduce my o/s balances by 545
Total before payments 89,746
minus 545
Balance 89,201
Also moved money into yearly bills account, savings account and monthly bills - and I have 600 left for the month for food/ travel/social etc
The weather is still bad in my area but it didn't stop me going for a walk - quite a long one too - went with a relative and we walked for about two hours - it's good to go with someone else as the time flies when chatting . Did a full clean up of the house, some washing, visited another family member, prepared veg for sun roast tomorrow (having another meat joint I got reduced at Christmas). Caught up with a tv drama I wanted to watch tonight on the I player. No socialising out this weekend and I've been glad to stay in and relax - last weekend really took it's toll on me :0
I might put some things on ebay tomorrow - not sure i'll see how I feel tomorrow - I haven't put anything on for over six months and I have to be in the mood - but it would be good to add some extra money to my savings pot!Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

So true RR - it is good for the soul - however low and fed up I sometimes feel before a walk I feel 100% better after. I love it - infact walked another 4 miles today - cold but sunny it was great! Hope you enjoyed the woods? I love the woods but the last time I went I lost my car keys - although I did get them back as I had a key finder tag on them and some kind soul posted them back to the free post address - I haven't been back to the woods since but think i'm over the car key nightmare nowStarted this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Really enjoyed today -had a lie in this morning, cooked dinner for family, cleaned up after dinner gave family member lift home. Called at Lidl - didn't spend much about 3.50 but got quite a few things including loads of fresh salad ingredients. Went walking in the sunshine and loved it! Caught up with another dog walker who I hadn't seen for a while and was beginning to worry that she wasn't well as she's quite elderly and infirm - it was lovely to see her out and about. Visited another family member, came back and got everything ready for work tomorrow
Feeling relaxed, sleepy and content now - I like days like theseStarted this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined

Good day at work for a Monday !
Have spent money today as i met a young relative for lunch and although I used a voucher for half price meals I ended up paying the bill and giving them the difference i'd saved as a bit of spending money (as they are at college and not flushed with money) - so all in all I spent 23 for the food and spending money - I now have £48 left for this week for food / travel/ social stuff (I've already bought my fags for the week) hopefully this should be plenty but i'll have to be careful now. I really enjoyed it and it's not something I do too often.
After work I baked some scones for the freezer ( I seem to have acquired a sweet tooth since hitting the menopause?) quite pleased with them too.
After baking I went to the gym with a family member and now i'm back home, having a quick look on here before an early ish night.Started this journey in 2013 (on a previous diary) with approx 94,000 total of morg and debt combined
