Good to hear that you are up and running. Personally I have stuck with Avast Free version 8, the newer version seems a little buggy still.0

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

yes, 9 is still being a bit of a pain, especially on installation on several machines. I've plonked mse on here for now, but will prob go back to avira after W7 install...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Got three machines all updated, seem ok.
But getting increasingly frustrated with Avast altering my preferences and adding extra options, whenever there's a program update.
Also always trying to sneak in Chrome/Google toolbar, cleverly putting them in bottom LH corner when all other information is at top of the page.Move along, nothing to see.0
