help please with nokia 6230i

Have a nokia 6230i phone and was wondering if anybody knew how I can extend the ringing length on the phone.

At the momonet it rings for short time only then answer phone kicks in........ and i want to extend the time it rings if possible.

    What network is it on and is it contract or pay as you go ?

    You cant extend it,somebody else had the same problem, give me a minuite and will find the post, I did try the method myself and mine seemed to go to around 20 seconds but try it yourself and see how you get on. I will just find the post.

    I have just been thinking about this, if orange wont give you the freedom to extend the ringtone length on pay as you go, then there is one thing you could try when you ring up ask them for the pac code, when they give you the usual why do you want to leave orange, simply say because my phone rings for 5 seconds and goes onto answer machine and I dont have time to answer it, they may give just stop the bull they are giving you regarding this and tell you how to extend it.
