bedroom roller blind - blackout or not?

    I need to consider one beyond the curtains , starting to wake at 5 am every morning now due to the light mornings , driving me mad
    Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

    Do consider though that a blackout & roller blinds are very much 'All or Nothing' in terms of what it blocks out.. venetian \ vertical blinds will allow adjustment to what gets through..

    I.e. you can position them to 'block' direct sunglare, but still allow an amount of daylight in when you don't want the room cast in darkness..

    I got a blackout blind, but it backfired on me.

    Now my OH insists on leaving a bedside lamp on all night.

    Adults who are afraid of the dark puzzle me, but I'm not tugging at that thread!
