    Not only does this mistake need to be corrected in WRITING but also you need to carry out a physical inspection of the property to check that it is empty before allowing your solicitor to complete. You are also on notice that the vendor is casual in his replies, so check out anything which is important to you.

    As suggested I would be questioning with solicitor, this is not a minor oversight.
  • That is one of the most important questions on the SPIF. I'm surprised, given the limited amount you have said, that your own solicitor has not highlighted this to you in GREAT BIG CAPITALS WITH HIGHLIGHTER PEN AND A FOLLOW-UP PHONE CALL.

    So maybe it is a mistake somehow.

    But I will be yet another voice saying this is something your solicitor needs to deal with.
